Handymaniac

With these two simple tools, I can repair anything! They’re universal, they can do magic, they even have names.

There was a time when I thought it’s quite surreal, all the skills that a man is supposed to master. Anything from horse-feeding, house-building, home-making, video-player-sleep-timer-programming, to terrace-flooring, garden-flattening, and house-completely-rewiring – all on the weekends after having done the shopping for the week to come.

I’m not complaining, I know that a woman’s lot is even worse.

But still … how is it supposed to work? I am not clumsy, I always liked doing things with my hands (Lego, drawing, guitar-playing). I often don’t have the patience and I could never aim for perfection when it come s to handiwork.

No, it’s more like, why am I supposed to KNOW all this?
